National Survey of Student Engagement
This spring, UW Tacoma will again participate in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), the university’s primary tool for understanding the experiences of our first‑year students and seniors. NSSE is a key initiative from the Provost’s Office and an important component of our upcoming accreditation work across all three campuses.
We are aiming for a significant improvement in our response rates this year—25% for both first-year students and seniors —and we will need broad campus support to get there. A tri-campus team is coordinating efforts to ensure consistent, effective outreach, while giving each campus space to tailor local strategies.
You can expect to see more information and ready-to-use materials soon. UW Seattle is preparing professionally designed promotional assets that we will receive on March 1, including slides, digital banners, and other communications tools.
