Life After Loss
Life After Loss is an informal grief support group for those wanting to partner with others as they work through the grief process. This support group is led by Steve Cornelius, a Bereavement Coordinator from Hospice Compassus. This group will meet in Manitowoc Public Library’s Second Floor Board Room. Life After Loss will be convened twice monthly. This is the first session in November, taking place on Tuesday, November 3, from 5:30-7PM. It takes place later in the day for those who can’t make it to MPL for the Friday afternoon session later in the week.

Deer Hunters Sight-In Scheduled at Manitowoc Rifle and Pistol Club, The Manitowoc Rifle and Pistol Club will host its annual Deer Hunters Sight-In Fundraiser on November 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Belgian Pie is a sweet pastry with various fillings and toppings. The dessert is sold at various festivals and Kermiss celebrations throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Pie flavors include apple, raisin, cherry, poppyseed or prune that are topped with a sweet cheesecake type flavor made from blended cottage cheese. Under the artistic direction of company founder Shirley Van, The Dance Company creates its own works, including choreography, costumes and set pieces. The shows are designed with children in mind with speaking parts and characters dancing through the audience.
