Add Trumba calendars to your Google Calendars list

What you can learn in this topic:

Which Trumba calendars you can add

You can add any publicly-available Trumba calendar to your Google Calendars list. That means that the Trumba calendar must be published without password protection.

Note When you update a Trumba calendar that you've added to Google Calendar, it may take a few hours for the updates to show up in Google.

How to add a Trumba calendar to your Google Calendars list

In Google Calendar, you have two options for adding a publicly-available Trumba calendar to the Calendars list. You can:

  • Search for the Trumba calendar.
  • Subscribe to the Trumba calendar's iCal feed.

If you know exactly what the web address for the Trumba calendar is, it's probably most efficient to subscribe to the calendar's iCal feed.

If you just know that the calendar exists but you're not sure of its address, it's best to search.

To search for a Trumba calendar

  1. In Google Calendar, click the plus sign next to Other Calendars in the Calendars list.
  2. In the Add Other Calendar window, click Search Public Calendars.
  3. Type search terms for the calendar, and then click Search.
  4. In the Results list, locate the calendar. Click Add Calendar.

You'll see a Loading indicator, and then the calendar appears in the Calendars list.

  5. Click OK to return to a calendar.

To subscribe to a Trumba calendar's iCal feed

  1. In Google Calendar, click the plus sign next to Other Calendars in the Calendars list.
  2. In the Add Other Calendar window, click Public Calendar Address.
  3. Type the URL for the published Trumba calendar that you want to subscribe to. Add an ics extension to the calendar name.

For example, the URL should look like this: http://www.trumba.com/calendars/yourcalendarname.ics, where yourcalendarname is the name of the published calendar to which you're subscribing.

  4. Click Add.

You'll see a Loading indicator, and then the calendar appears in the Calendars list.

  5. Click OK to return to a calendar.
