Unsubscribe to a calendar

If you no longer want to stay informed about events on a Trumba® calendar that you subscribed to in the past, you can easily unsubscribe.

How you unsubscribe depends on the method you used when you originally subscribed, and the specific calendar and/or feed reader program you use.

This topic provides general guidelines for unsubscribing. For assistance, you may need to look up exact steps in the documentation provided with the program you use.

For information about unsubscribing, click the method you originally used to subscribe:

Email (Weekly, Monthly, etc.) subscription

If you subscribed by email, you regularly receive calendar email messages in your inbox that contain lists of upcoming events.

To unsubscribe from a calendar email message

  1. Scroll to the bottom of one of the email messages you received.

You may see a section that looks something like this:

    Email unsubscribe link

  2. Click the link to unsubscribe.
  3. In the Manage My Email form that opens, clear the checkbox for the calendar to which you want to unsubscribe, and then click Submit.

RSS or ATOM (XML) feeds

If you subscribed to an RSS or Atom feed, you have to unsubscribe to the feed from within the browser or other news reader program you originally used to subscribe.

For example, to unsubscribe from a feed in Google Reader™ feed reader: Find the feed in the feeds list. Click the down arrow to the right of the feed. On the popup menu, click Unsubscribe.

iCalendar subscription

If you subscribed to an iCalendar feed, you have to unsubscribe from within the calendar program you originally used to subscribe.

The process of unsubscribing differs for each program. For assistance, refer to the documentation provided with the program you use.
