How and why did The Arabian Nights influence European and then world literature to such an extent?
In this seminar we will explore The 1001 Nights, also known as The Arabian Nights, the most famous collection of framed tales in world literature. We will read some of the most famous stories in the collection, along with a few less-known tales. We will trace the transmission of the tales from…

Webinar Description: James will explore with us, at a time when ecclesiastical structures seem to be failing to produce healthy forms of “belonging to the Church” what might be going on with how the Holy Spirit is nudging us into creating new forms of belonging for each other. This will require a somewhat different account than is usual of what Jesus was about in his living and dying, and how the Holy Spirit works horizontally in our midst.
This webinar is a part of the "What's Next?" series, which explores what we can do as lay leaders to make a positive impact for the future of the Catholic Church.
