Riverbank Cleanup
Seems we now have enough volunteers to participate in the river bank clean up - eleven if I am counting correctly. I need to meet with the Broome County Parks Dept for last minute information but we have been assign the Otsiningo Park South location. We will meet at Saturday, Oct 17th at 9:00 AM near the north end of the pond - the first parking lot on the right when you enter the south entrance on Bevier St. We should plan on about 2 1/2 hours for the job.
You should bring water, gloves and proper clothing. Trash bags will be provided.
I have picked up ticks at the park before so you may want to use your favorite tick repellant. We treat our cloths with Permethrin.
