2025 Neonatal and Pediatric Symposium

Weekend Childbirth In-Person Class

Childbirth Education Each of these basic, one-day classes cover labor and birth by vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, pain control techniques, possible medical interventions and postpartum recovery. A fun class to learn the keys of the childbirth process. You will also receive a course book and a helpful companion app that includes videos, checklists and applicable tools. It can be helpful to take your childbirth class by 34 weeks. Cost for the class is $35. Fee covers expectant mom and one support person. You only need to register mom. No need to register your one support person that will attend class with you. Discounts are available for those students enrolled in Sooner Care or are SFHS employees. Breastfeeding Basics In-Person Class

Childbirth Education These one-day classes will help you prepare for your breastfeeding journey. Our classes cover recognizing hunger cues of your baby, techniques on positioning your baby at the breast, successfully latching on, feeding patterns, breast pumps, and breast milk storage along with hands on learning opportunities.  A support person is encouraged to attend with you at no additional cost.
