Spanish Car Seat Workshop

Safe Kids *THIS WORKSHOP IS IN SPANISH ONLY* In order to receive a car seat from Safe Kids Tulsa Area, you must be the legal guardian. You will need to bring proof of government assistance (WIC, food stamps, SoonerCare) as well as proof of guardianship if child is born* (birth certificate, vaccine record, insurance card). The cost of each car seat is $20 (cash only) with a max of one car seat per child and three car seats per family. Childbirth Education We are pleased to have in-person tours of our maternal health areas of Saint Francis Health System on Yale. This includes labor and delivery and our two postpartum floors. Tours are for expectant mom and 1-2 support persons. No one under 18 years old. Pre-registration is required for the tours. Please use the registration icon. Childbirth Education We are excited to offer classes for Infant CPR. We will use a straightforward approach to teach participants to perform basic CPR skills specific to infants. Our classes will also cover how to treat episodes of choking. Cost of the class is $20 per person. Discounts are available for clients enrolled in Sooner Care or are SFHS employees. Breastfeeding Basics In-Person Class

Childbirth Education These one-day classes will help you prepare for your breastfeeding journey. Our classes cover recognizing hunger cues of your baby, techniques on positioning your baby at the breast, successfully latching on, feeding patterns, breast pumps, and breast milk storage and more, along with hands on learning opportunities.  A support person is encouraged to attend with you at no additional cost. This will help them support you and baby. Cost for the class is $40. Fee covers expectant mom and one support person. You only need to register mom. A fun class to learn the keys of the childbirth process. You will also receive a course book and a helpful companion app that includes videos, checklists and applicable tools. We at Saint Francis Health System would like to support and equip you as you begin your new grandchild's first year. Our class is filled with accurate and up-to-date information to help guide you through the next twelve months of your grandchild's life.
