Breastfeeding Basics In-Person Class

Childbirth Education These one-day classes will help you prepare for your breastfeeding journey. Our classes cover recognizing hunger cues of your baby, techniques on positioning your baby at the breast, successfully latching on, feeding patterns, breast pumps, and breast milk storage and more, along with hands on learning opportunities.  A support person is encouraged to attend with you at no additional cost. This will help them support you and baby. Cost for the class is $40. Fee covers expectant mom and one support person. You only need to register mom. No need to register your one support person that will attend class with you. Childbirth Education Becoming a grandparent begins an exciting new journey as a family. We at Saint Francis Health System would like to support and equip you as you begin your new grandchild's first year. Our class is filled with accurate and up-to-date information to help guide you through the next twelve months of your grandchild's life. Virtual Car Seat Workshop

Safe Kids This is a virtual workshop with all education completed online. In order to receive a car seat from Safe Kids Tulsa Area, you must be the legal guardian. You will need to bring proof of government assistance (WIC, food stamps, SoonerCare) as well as proof of guardianship if child is born* (birth certificate, vaccine record, insurance card). The cost of each car seat is $20 (cash only) with a max of one car seat per child and three car seats per family. If you are unsure if you are eligible, please call us at 918-494-7233 or email safekidstulsa@saintfrancis.com. Car seats provided by Safe Kids Tulsa Area are meant to be used in the vehicle of the legal guardian. We cannot provide car seats for the vehicles of secondary caregivers (babysitters, nannies, other family members, etc.). Please note that all-in-one car seats are used for expectant parents and infants, not infant carriers.  *Expecting parents do not need to provide proof of guardianship. Type: Class.
